Geographic landmarks

Rivers are represented by linear blue glyphs with decorative motifs inside and white dots around the edges.

The left and lower borders of the Lienzo represent the Pacific Ocean (Southern Sea). Blue lines symbolize waves, which are dotted with shells, turtles, and fish.

Blue lines inside a circle with white dots around the edge indicate a lake. This body of water with a bird inside represents Lake Quilizinapa. Now disappeared, this lagoon was southwest of present-day Antigua Guatemala.
