6. Who did the digital programming?
Some forty digital designers at Studio C in Guatemala worked on the project. The team of experts accompanied them at each step in the process to interpret the symbols, as well as define textures and colors.
All work was performed at 2048 x 768 pixels, which required large computing capacity.
Their first step was to reconstruct the Lienzo in each of the 15 negatives.
The next step was to make the most of what was already on the canvas. By modifying contrasts to increase clarity and definition, the designers were able to enhance the pictographic image between 20% and 30%.
